Mesotherapy is a technique, invented in 1952 by Dr. Michel Pistor, where medication is injected into the mesoderm, the layer of fat and connective tissue under the skin. Over the past 50+ years, in excess of 50,000 physicians worldwide have used Mesotherapy regularly for a variety of purposes, including overall weight loss, spot weight reduction, cellulite reduction, lightening of dermal pigmentation and wrinkle reduction.

  1. Mesolifting with Hyaluronic Acid
  2. Mesobotox with Botox
  3. Mesosculpting with Lipodissolve
  4. MesoCellulite

Mesotherapy is a technique using very small doses of compounded medications that are administered in specific areas, depending on the condition being treated. The medicines and plant extracts used are typically obtained from compounding pharmacies in most countries, although Europe mass manufactures many products that are prohibited for import into most other countries.

All medicines used are FDA-approved for their use. In combination, medicines for Mesotherapy are used for off-label purposes. A recent illustration of this distinction is Botox. Although Botox was FDA approved for controlling muscle spasms, the medical community embraced it for its cosmetic properties of controlling wrinkles. For many years, plastic surgeons and dermatologists used Botox for off-label purposes.

Mesotherapy has shown to be effective for including the following:

  • Wrinkle
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Flaccid Skin
  • Big Pore
  • Rocesea
  • Cellulite
  • Localized Fat

A. Mesolift with Hyaluronic AcidAging processes can be cruel to our skin – Between sun damage and progressive collagen loss, the skin loses its plumpness and resiliency. Mesotherapy skin rejuvenation or “Mesolift” infuses the dermis with potent Hyaluronic Acid and anti-oxidants to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin. Mesolift mainly consists of hyaluronic acid – the body’s natural method for a strong regenerative effect.

Mesolift with Hyaluronic Acid: an excellent choice at any age. It is used both for prevention of further sagging of the skin and for active hydration, tightening and smoothing the skin of face, neck, décolleté and back side of hands. Hyaluronic acid is a powerful hydrating factor – one acid molecule attracts to the subcutaneous tissue 1000 molecules of water. Besides, it helps for collagen genesis and bio revitalization of the skin. As a product, it is a ready injection form of 2 ml gel solution, which is usually enough for one procedure of the face. In order to achieve long-lasting effect, it is necessary to complete a course of three procedures for a period of three months (one therapy per month) or for quick recovery of skin for 3 weeks, one procedure per week. Different companies, such as Allergan, Stillage and others produce hyaluronic acid for mesotherapy with identical properties.

People who have had a “Mesolift” describe their skin as firm, radiant, youthful and glowing. The “Mesolift” is usually performed in an initial series of 2-4 treatments spaced one or two months apart. Results are maintained by once or twice a year touch up sessions. Wrinkles, like other conditions involving the skin, have a multi-factorial etiology.

Excessive skin wrinkles can be caused by: overall dehydration, excessive sun exposure, genetics, facial expressions, muscle atrophy, fatty acid deficiencies, hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and many other causes.

B. MesoBotox

MesoBotox is a the term which involves injecting multiple small doses of BOTOX into the skin of the face to reduce the action of sweat and sebaceous glands as well as the superficial layer of facial muscles which are responsible for those very fine, annoying lines of the forehead or under the eyes.

The net effect is improved sheen of the face with smooth skin, tighter pores, reduced oil production, reduced redness and yet the ability to move all the deeper muscles of the face thus retaining a natural, non “plastic” appearance. Patient feedback has found that MesoBotox is a welcome complement to traditional BOTOX injections.

A greatly diluted (sometimes up to 1:10) Botox substance is used for this procedure. It is applied using micro-injections below skin surface to any facial area or separate chosen areas according to the physician’s opinion. The procedure is painless after applying local anesthesia. It takes about 30 minutes and patient’s normal daily routine is not interrupted. Immediately after treatment, the kin appears slightly red that may last for about an hour.

C. MesoSculpting

MesoSculpting uses Phophatydlcholine, also known as “Lipodissolve” for fat loss of small area and body contouring. It is also the answer to those patients who have already had liposuction and have been left with the fat deposits around the area they had the liposuction surgery done. These fat deposits post liposuction surgery is quite common.

MesoSculpting involves microinjections using Phosphatydlcholine to achieve the lipolytic effect. The injections are given directly into the areas being treated i.e. love handles, bra bulge, saddlebags, inner thighs, arms, and knees etc.
Results are considered permanent as long as the patient adheres to a proper nutrition and exercise regimen.

D. MesoCellulite

The main concern for many women around the globe is cellulite. The ugly, dimply, orange-skin appearance is obvious even on the thinnest of thighs. That’s not surprising when you consider cellulite is a skin condition affecting over 90% of most post-pubescent women.

Cellulite is not caused by being overweight at all and can affect even slim figured women in all areas of the body – thighs, hips, buttocks, stomach, knees and even upper arms… Patients often complain about the external visible appearance of cellulite — lumpy, dimpled appearance. Cellulite commonly appears on the hips, buttocks and legs, but is not caused by being overweight as many believe.

Cellulite appears in the subcutaneous level of skin tissue. Fat cells are arranged in chambers surrounded by connective tissue called septae. As water is retained, fat cells held within the perimeters of this area expand and stretch the connective tissue. Eventually this connective tissue contracts and hardens (sclerosis) holding the skin at a non-flexible length, while the surrounding tissue continues to expand with weight, or water gain. This then results in areas of the skin being held down while other sections bulge outward, resulting in the dimply ‘cottage-cheese’ appearance.

Studies have Shown Mesotherapy to effectively reduce cellulite. This is due to the following facts:

  1. Improves blood flow to the area…
  2. Dissolves excess fat deposits…
  3. Removes fibrotic, hardened connective tissue…
  4. Improves lymphatic drainage…

A. Mesotherapy is a method that has long been used to treat various skin conditions. The basis of the treatment is the injection of active substances directly into the affected area of skin. This method of treatment was invented by French doctor Michel Pistor. It was initially used for treating conditions such as migraines, neurological illnesses, varicose veins and respiratory diseases. It has experienced something of a renaissance since the 1970s, especially in dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Mesotherapy is a non-surgical method of skin regeneration used for the following: improving the appearance of the skin, rejuvenation, cellulite treatment, stretch marks, and the treatment localzed fat pocket. Superficial injections of an active substance improve microcirculation in the subcutaneous tissue and increase metabolism in the adipose tissue (lipolysis).

Q. What can Mesotherapy be used for?

A.

  • Localised skin sagging
  • Prevention of wrinkles
  • Tired skin
  • Cellulite (thighs, belly, buttocks)
Q. What are Advantages of Mesotherapy

Q. What are the benefits of Mesotherapy over liposuction?

A. Liposuction does not treat cellulite and in fact often ends up, making the cellulite more prominent. Mesotherapy treats cellulite directly and the result is a smoother skin surface. Mesotherapy also spot reduces fat in specific areas, like “love handles”. The fat deposits flush out of specific areas and the body does not gain the weight back in other areas, which often happens after liposuction. Mesotherapy is a non-surgical procedure that does not require hospital admittance, general anesthesia, or downtime.

Q. How Does Mesotherapy Work On Cellulite/Fat?

The doctor will create a formula to treat the fat in the cellulite, the impaired circulation and the bad connective tissue therefore smoothing our skin surface. Cellulite treatment can be done on any affected part of the body, for example; arms, stomach, waist, hips, and legs.

Q. How Does Mesotherapy Work On Age Proofing & Skin Rejuvenation?

A. Vitamin and antioxidants injections under the skin rejuvenate the cells making them metabolically active thus stimulating collagen and elastin production. For age proofing you can start in you mid-twenties with Mesotherapy vitamin treatments to prevent wrinkles from forming. Treatments on the face, neck, arms, and hands are recommended 2-4 times a year.

Q. How Does Mesotherapy Work On Weight Loss & Spot Reduction?

A. Mesotherapy can target specific areas or spots where your body stores excessive fat. The customized formulas injected in a specific area blocks the cells from storing fat and helps break the existing fat cells down. Your body then naturally flushes out the broken-down fat. Spot reduction can be used for double chins, love handles and any other area where your body pockets fat.

Q. How fast will I see results?

A. Results vary based on your body type and the severity of the condition. On the average, based on conditions, the results can be seen in two or three sessions. For certain conditions you may see results immediately.

Q. Will the results last?

A. The results are long-lasting! However, aging is a dynamic process. We cannot stop aging. As your body continues to age you will need to address the symptoms of aging as they manifest. Mesotherapy is used as a preventative against ravages of aging, as well.

Q. How often do I need to repeat the treatment?

A. Best results are achieved when Mesotherapy is repeated several times, e.g. 3 to 4 treatment sessions 2-4 weeks apart, and then once or twice a year. Mesotherapy is also highly suitable for short-term skin improvement treatments, e.g. before an important appointment.

Q. What is Preparation for Mesotherapy?

A.

  • You should not take any aspirin for 7-10 days before treatment
  • No topical numbing cream may be applied immediately before the treatment (1-2 hours)
Q. What is the procedure of Mesotherapy like?

A. The active substances are selected on an individual basis for each customer and a special mixture is prepared. The substances are then injected using a very thin needle. Injections are made every 0.5-1.5 cm. The treatment is followed by a short massage.

Q. Are there any side effects?
